Websites-Understanding The Basics

It seems nowadays that everyone wants a website and if you are one of these people
understanding what a website is and the options you have needs to come before you
even begin to build it.

First, lets look at the different kinds of websites to help understand which would
be the best for you.  Websites can be categorized in different ways, but for our
purposes we are going to look at how they can be categorized from a “birds eye
view”.

There are two main categories of websites, “publicly” hosted websites and
“privately” hosted websites.  Now they are not really public or private but we are
going to use these terms so we can differentiate them.

How to Save Money When Buying a New Computer

Purchasing a new computer can be a large investment depending upon what you are going to be doing with it.
This is the one thing you should determine first because it will help you to get what you need in a computer and help you save money on what you dont.

In general, if you are purchasing a computer for home use.. balancing the checkbook, surfing the internet, email, saving photos etc., you can buy any computer in nearly any store.

Do try to keep with brand names such as HP, Dell, Acer, Compaq, Sony, Gateway, or Toshiba, and while they are all pretty similar you can find quite a price variance between the brands.

Also consider if you would rather have a laptop or desktop model.  If you are buying more for pleasure and travel very little, a desktop model will be less expensive and serve your purposes just fine.
