I have long been a believer and a customer as well as an affiliate of SBI because even for the greenest of people who want to build a website online to the very advanced it is one of the few products that delivers and continually improves for their customers.
I still use SBI today. The hitch… 299.00 a year can be a lot of money all at once and in our current economy sadly I am seeing customers dropping the sites they have worked very hard on and are just starting to make money from because they just cant afford it. In the big scheme of things, its not expensive compared to other services for the “little guy” its a pretty big deal to pay that all at once, especially if your renewal date comes at a bad time.
Well, Ken Evoy, bless his heart is listening.. he has offered SBI on a monthly payment plan that is VERY affordable for nearly everyone.
If you have looked into building your business with SBI in the past, or just wanted a great personal site but just couldn’t afford it, this may be the solution for you. I love SBI.. it is still the most comprehensive, easy to use, and customer service friendly program I have found to date.

I am a proud affiliate of SBI and it’s products and for any purchases made through the links on my websites I do earn a commission.
Do you have a question about how SBI works? Please ask.

On December 1st the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) issued some new rules that are scaring many online marketers and bloggers to death thinking they can no longer advertise online. Lots of Guru’s are talking about it, and there are tons of webinars going on.. but none that I have seen so far tell you what you CAN DO, not just what you shouldn’t do to be in compliance.
Two of my good friends, Copywriter David Garfinkel and Internet Marketer Ann Sieg decided that it was time to talk about the things that online marketers and advertisers can do that are not only in full compliance, but are favored by the FTC.

I encourage you to watch the short video they posted just a day ago and sign up for a free webinar so YOU can actually benefit from the new FTC Rules while other marketers are freaking out. Register for the webinar at www.customerfriendlymarketing.com
Click here to watch the video
P.S. This is a free webinar, with limited seating. I really encourage you to attend.

Today the virus/worm “Conficker” (w32.downadup) is going to start communicating with its other pieces. If you didn’t hear about this there were some folks from symantec on the news talking about it yesterday. It basically makes use of a common security hole in non-updated windows machines.
After getting into your system via thumb drive, download, or network it executes code that allows intruders to use your computer to do its bidding.
We have created a video that goes over some of the following here
Internet security and the Conficker worm
But never fear, its easy to get rid of and protect yourself…

I am stepping out of my usual giving tips, tricks, and such in my posts to talk about a trend that I am seeing now in the social arena that really saddens me.
We were all new once using the computer and the Internet, and I see more and more Baby Boomers, Computer “newbies” and people needing help on how to use a computer being shunned or somehow being made fun of. This really bothers me!
I know many people who are very technically adept, they have cell phones, IPods, or work in very technical professions and yet when they ask for help with their computer as a tool they are somehow perceived as stupid for asking the question.
